Important Shipping Update: U.S. De Minimis Exemption

Effective August 29, 2025, the United States will eliminate the de minimis exemption for commercial shipments. This exemption previously allowed goods valued at $800 USD or less to enter the U.S. duty-free and with minimal customs processing.


What This Means for You:
- All shipments to the U.S., regardless of value, will now be subject to customs duties, tariffs, taxes, and formal entry procedures.
- You may experience higher costs and longer delivery times for orders shipped to the U.S.
- Shipping carriers may update their fees or delivery timelines to reflect the new import requirements.

About our Rope

This rope and cable is made with the scale ship modeler in mind.  Replacing kit materials? Doing scratch building? We have a wide range of sizes to accommodate common scales.

All of our cotton ropes are made with Aurifil thread.

Our range of synthetics are made with Gutermann E thread.
