This rope is treated with a diluted bookbinders PVA glue with a neutral PH. This adds a matt appearance and helps reduce fuzz and unraveling. Even with the PVA treatment, the rope may show fuzz when worked with. This can be remedied by brushing down the rope after rigging with diluted PVA.
